Artists Treg Silkwood and Candace Martin live and work in San Jose, California. In 2003 they combined their artistic talents to establish Silkwood Glass. Together they create unique, handcrafted glass and sculpture. Their mission is to provide exceptional glass that will be cherished for generations to come.

Their work has been featured in Sunset Magazine and is available at Vetri International Gallery in Seattle and Tacoma, Gallery I in Carmel and Monterey, L. H. Selman Gallery in Santa Cruz, and the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY.

In 2008, an exclusive collection of Treg Silkwood”s work was shown at the Steuben Flagship Store on Madison Avenue in New York City from May thru October. Treg was honored to be the second artist asked to have a “Steuben Selections” solo show featuring his new sculptural work. The Steuben Selections Series was established to showcase the world’s foremost artists in glass.

In 2009, Silkwood Glass will be attending the Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival, July 11th –12th and the Half Moon Pumpkin Festival, October 18th –19th. There work will also be available at the Campbell’s Farmer’s Market beginning Sunday, May 10th thru the holidays.
